Trivia: The commercial that Melvin was watching when Carol came over was actually a promo for Nick At Nite "Classic TV rewind" featuring scenes from the show I Dream Of Jeannie. (more)

Goofs: Audio/visual unsynchronized: When Simon first meets Carol, she sees his scars from being beaten by the men robbing him. As he is telling her the story, the camera changes as he says "I almost died," right before Melvin cuts them off (to finish the small talk in the car). Simon's voice does not match his mouth as he says this. (more)

Quotes:
[after telling Carol that he thinks she's the greatest woman on Earth]
Melvin Udall: Is that something that's bad for you to be around, for you?
Carol Connelly: No.

Awards: Won 2 Oscars. Another 23 wins & 25 nominations (more)
