Trivia: Some of the Scrat sequences (e.g., the fight with the piranha, the encounter with the baby bird) were originally conceived for the opening sequence of Ice Age (2002), but were cut for time. (more)
Goofs: Continuity: When Scrat fights off the piranhas, one bit the hand which was holding the acorn. Scrat stomps, fights them all off, knocking the one that bit his hand to the right. As one to the left inches away, Scrat stomps down on the fish, causing it to expel the acorn. This was not the fish that had eaten the acorn. (more)
